ATTORNEY Peter Brown
His litigation experience also includes successfully representing clients at workers’ compensation hearings and jury trials in personal injury cases, both in state and federal court. Over his career, Peter has primarily represented defendants and has brought his knowledge and perspective of the defense side to the firm.
His defense experience was largely defending local government entities and their employees including Georgia cities, counties and the State of Georgia. Peter has extensive experience working with law enforcement in personal injury and civil rights matters. He has conducted and participated in internal investigations of police departments in response to allegations of improper conduct and procedural violations. Peter is also certified in DUI field sobriety testing and detection.
After obtaining a degree in History from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, Peter earned his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He has volunteered his time to the legal community as an evaluator in numerous mock trial competitions, has coached and prepared a local high school team for competition and has worked as a volunteer attorney for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation.
Leadership, Membership & Honors
Peter is a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church where he served on the Community Concerns Committee for his Sunday School class. When time permits, he goes on occasional hunting and fishing trips in south Georgia.
